the big golden treasure Japan Kasumi pearl necklace

Recently uncovered in a treasure chest of pearls from yesteryear (REALLY!) , these 10-13mm natural color super baroque pearls from Lake Kasumi ga Ura, Japan. Most of these pearls were from the 2015 - 2017 harvests and I added a few from the last Winter (2023)harvest to round out the color and textural play of this piece. The necklace is 17" long (yes we can lenghten it for you, and/or change the clasp, just email us at the time of purchase)... and finished with a rhodium plated silver "orbit" clasp. The pearls mostly DEEPLY rippled have some of the coolest green golden flashes I have seen in some time. There are also some deep lavender/coppery tones and soft lavender with subtle blue overtones, even some very faint peach/pink tones. I mixed up the sizes in order for this piece.. so that the most "interesting" pearls could play the leading roles. Hand knotted on white thread. FYI.. I will be doing an interview about Japan Kasumi pearls soon!
